The cultural hiking trail with a total of 42 stations connects the four Hengist municipalities and explains geological, archaeological, historical and cultural-historical features.<\/h5>\n

The Hengist culture trail connects the municipalities of Hengsberg, Lang, Lebring-St. Margarethen and Wildon and leads past sights such as churches (e.g. St. Lorenzen parish church in Hengsberg, St. Matthew\u2019s parish church in Lang), castles (e.g. Murst\u00e4tten Castle in Lebring, Eybesfeld Castle in Lang), archaeological sites (e.g. hilltop settlement on Wildon Schlossberg, prehistoric settlement site \u201cFaltik\u00f6gerl\u201d in Hengsberg) and geological features (e.g. basalt quarry in Weitendorf).<\/p>\n

Text and picture boards at more than 60 stations provide information about the local culture. The Hengsberg culture trail offers the unique opportunity to experience both the geological and historical origins of Styria in a small region.<\/p>\n
